Alexander Duncan Short

March 16, 1984- June 16, 2023

Alex was good at SO many things!

He was good at many sports growing up, playing in an adult soccer league for many years before his passing. He played the position of goalie, and loved it!

He went back to school as an adult graduating from Cal Poly with a degree in Architecture.

Alex was also a wonderful chef, artist and musician!!! He loved music and always shared his latest musical finds with friends. He could also fix ANYTHING!

On June 15th, my 62nd birthday Alex cooked me an amazing dinner! That is the last time I saw him.

I got the call at work the following day. Life was kind of a blur for a few months after that.

Alex suffered from addiction for many years. He died from an overdose of Fentanyl.

There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about him and miss him.

I am truly blessed that I had him for 39 years and I look forward to seeing him again!
